Wedding DJ Auckland
There’s only one of me. That’s the point.
When you book me, you get me.
Not whoever happens to be available that weekend. Not a contractor who got the gig through an agency. Not someone reading your brief for the first time on the morning of your wedding.
You get the person you spoke to. The person who learned about your day, your guests, your first dance, and the moment you’ve been imagining. The person who shows up prepared, present, and genuinely invested in making your wedding feel like yours.
That’s not a marketing line. It’s just how I work.
Your wedding. Not a template.
I’ve been doing this for a long time — long enough to know that no two weddings are truly the same, and that couples who think they can’t have what they actually want are almost always wrong.
You can have the first dance you’ve always imagined. Or no first dance if that’s your preference.
You can have the dancefloor that keeps everyone up past midnight.
You can have a ceremony that sounds perfect, speeches that flow naturally, and a reception that feels like a celebration rather than a schedule being ticked off.
I love helping couples figure out what they actually want — and then making it happen.
If you’ve been told something isn’t possible, ask me. The answer is usually yes.
Not the most weddings. The right ones.
I’m not trying to fill a calendar. I take on a select number of weddings each year — enough to give every couple the attention they deserve.
That means when you enquire, I’m genuinely interested in your wedding. Not in whether I can squeeze you in. Not in whether your date works for the roster. I want to know if we’re the right fit for each other — because that’s how the best weddings happen.
If you’re looking for New Zealand’s friendliest wedding DJ, you’ve found him. If you’re looking for the cheapest option, I’m probably not it — and I’ll be straight with you about that.
What makes a great Auckland wedding DJ?
Not the biggest speakers or the flashiest lighting. Not the longest list of weddings per year, or the playlists they expect you to make.
The best wedding DJs read rooms. They adjust in real time. They know when to push the energy and when to let a moment breathe. They understand that their job isn’t to perform or be on stage or take the spotloght — it’s to serve the day.
I don’t follow a formula or recycle the same playlist every weekend. I listen — to you during the planning, and to your guests on the night — and I shape the music around what’s actually happening in the room.
Most people won’t notice what I’m doing. They’ll just feel like everything made sense.
Let’s Plan Something Exceptional
I’m based in Auckland and regularly travel for the right weddings in Northland, Waikato, Tauranga and Taupo.
I provide an all day service which typically includes full ceremony and reception sound, pre-wedding planning meetings, timeline coordination with your other vendors, and me as your DJ and MC (or support for your chosen MC). I am focused entirely on your day from the moment I arrive.
No packages. No upsells. No surprises.
If you want someone calm, prepared, and easy to work with — let’s chat!
