Working With Me
DJ & MC Services
More Than “Press Play”.
A staff party, awards night, birthday, or black-tie event — I bring the experience, timing, and calm presence that turns a function into a night people actually talk about (for the right reasons).
Let’s make it smooth, memorable, and easy — for you, and for everyone in the room.
The Event Starts Before the Event Starts +
Guests won’t notice how it sounds when they arrive — unless it’s wrong.
From the moment guests walk in, the tone is already being set.
Music. Timing. Atmosphere. Flow.
You don’t want someone asking, “When do I start?”
I’m there early, reading the room, adjusting to the pace, cueing the moments — so when the spotlight hits, the room is ready.
That’s not overthinking it. And it’s not complicated at all.
That’s doing it properly.
A Plan, Not a Playlist. +
If all you need is someone to play your favourite songs, Spotify’s cheaper.
But if you want music that builds the mood, fits the room, and actually keeps the energy where it needs to be — that takes more than a playlist.
Anyone can pick some good songs. The real skill is knowing when to play them — and how to move between styles, decades, or energy levels without losing the room.
Whether it’s background music that lets conversation breathe, or a dancefloor that builds naturally without feeling forced, I’m there to shape the mood, not control it.
Guests might not even notice how it all flowed so well.
Isn’t that the point?
On The Microphone: Confident. Clear. Never Cringe.. +
There’s a fine line between hosting the night and hijacking it.
The best MCs don’t make it about themselves — they make it easy for everyone else.
Whether I’m guiding the night or working alongside your chosen Master of Ceremonies, my job is to keep things running smoothly: clear cues, good timing, and a calm presence that helps your guests feel comfortable and the schedule stay on track.
You won’t get cheesy banter or awkward ad-libs.
Just someone who knows when to speak, when to step back, and how to keep the energy moving without taking the spotlight.
As I was taught early in my radio career, “Less is More”. Words to live by because the last thing your event needs…
…is someone with a microphone who thinks they’re the entertainment.
It's Your Show, I'm There To Help +
“Professional” Means Prepared.
When you hire a professional, you shouldn’t have to follow up, chase down details, or wonder if they’ve remembered the schedule.
From our first conversation, I’ll take the lead on what I need — asking the right questions, confirming the right details, and working with your timeline, not against it.
I’m always looking out for anything that’s missed – before it’s missed.
Whether you’re running the whole show or managing a few moving parts, I’ll be across what matters, flexible where it counts, and calm when the unexpected happens.
Clear communication. Solid planning.
As relaxed or line-by-line as you need.
If You’re Just After “A Bit of Music”… It’s Not Me +
If you’re looking for the cheapest DJ with a sound system, I’m not that guy. And that’s fine. I’ll help you find them.
I don’t do wigs, gimmicks, or hype-man shoutouts. I don’t talk over your speeches. And I definitely don’t turn up with a USB stick of ‘Top 40 Hits’ and hope for the best.
What I do bring is experience, preparation, and the kind of calm, behind-the-scenes control that makes your night feel like it just worked — even if no one saw how.
So if you care about how your event feels — not just how loud it gets — we’ll probably get on just fine.
What You’re Actually Paying For +
If you’re looking for the cheapest DJ with a sound system, I’m not that guy. And that’s fine. I’ll help you find them.
You’re not hiring me to press play.
You’re hiring someone who shows up early, stays sober, brings backup gear, and doesn’t wait for things to go wrong before fixing them.
That should be the bare minimum.
But in this industry? It just isn’t.
I don’t cut corners. I don’t disappear when it matters.
And I don’t leave your night to chance — because while I’m representing you, it’s my name on the business, not some faceless “U Book DJ Agency” brand. It’s my reputation, and I protect it passionately.
Which is why I don’t need to talk myself up — I just quietly outperform the ones who do.
If that makes me the exception…
That’s different.
worth celebrating right
Everyone is a DJ
But owning a hammer doesn’t make me a carpenter.
The right questions, the right plan, no guesswork.
